Mulberry Silk

The classic lustrous silk — smooth, strong and consistent lot after lot.

About the Silk

What Makes Mulberry Silk Different

Mulberry silk is reeled from the cocoons of Bombyx mori, reared on cultivated mulberry leaf in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal. It is the most refined silk in commercial production: a long, continuous, near-perfectly uniform filament.

That uniformity is what makes it the default choice for luxury apparel. It takes colour cleanly, holds a crisp edge when woven tightly, and falls with the fluid drape buyers expect when they say ‘silk’.
